Quileute Days
The book club spent 4 days in Forks & La Push. I LOVE it over there! We rented a house on the banks of the Sol Duc River for the weekend. It was so much better than staying in a hotel! Staying up late watching scary movies. Trying to start a fire in 90% humidity. Slugs every where. It was fun and lots of good memories. :)
Quileute Days was going on in La Push. That's where we spent most of our time. We met lots of new people. Ate great food. Had fun on First Beach and even more fun and excitement hiking down to Second Beach!
Here's a couple pictures from the trip. Two from First Beach and my mom hugging Kiowa (Embry from the Twilight Wolf Pack.)
If you would like to see more pictures from the trip I have them here on my Flickr.

Summer Time!
Well we took our first trip of the summer! Woo Hoo! We always have fun when we go to Seattle. The family photos may not always turn out but we have fun taking them. lol
This one was taken at the Woodland Park Zoo. As you can tell with five boys it's very hard to get them all to look at the camera at the same time. This one was the most decent one that I took. At least I had two of them looking at me.
This one was taken at Dash Point State Park near Tacoma. Here we have the gazer who it probably watching the girls that were running on the beach behind me. Next to him we have my little ham & cheeser. Next up is our little Rock Star. He says he's a metal head but enjoys Ke$ha a little too much. lol The last two...If WWE had a toddler division these two would be the champs!
Cupcake Royale is the ONLY reason my hubby ever agrees to go on family trips to Seattle. The two on the left are Red Velvet and the two on the right are Salted Caramel. I would have taken a picture of my Raspberry Rhubarb cupcake but *someone* who will remain nameless ATE it all! I said "taste this" and ran off to catch #3 & #4 as they were locking #5 outside of the gate. Sadly I can't tell you if it really tasted like Raspberry & Rhubarb.

Football Season....
Well it's that time of year! The time of year I lose all control of the remote on Sunday's and Monday nights. Our house if full of loyal Raider (me) & Seahawk fans (everyone else.) I am having fun with our office football picks even though our teams aren't doing so hot this year. I choose by city (the ones where I have friends living), mascot & then jersey colors. Yes I do pick in that order. So far I have come in last three times which has made me $150 richer and I have also come in a very close 2nd place twice. All in all I think I'm doing pretty darn good for not know anything about football! :)

Time to get back to real life.
Well I've been busy! Busy reading that is. My last two weeks have been spent reading all about Sookie Stackhouse, Bill, Eric, and Jason. I would get up in the morning make myself coffee. Get my boys breakfast and then grab myself a book. I'd only put it down if one of the boys really needed something (but often carrying the book with me) or if I *had* to go some where that I need to drive to. If I could talk someone else into driving my nose was stuck in a book. I'd go to bed around 3 in the morning and get woken up around 7 so I was hardly getting any sleep.
Now that I am finished with all ten books I feel lost and better rested. I feel like I've lost contact with some really good friends and I don't know how to get a hold of them. I think it's time to suck it up and get my life back to normal. Well as normal as a mom/librarian/crafter's life can be. :)
If you have spare time you should check out the Sookie Stackhouse Series. When I get another book obsession I'll be sure to let you know before hand so you can read along with me. :)

Hello!
Well summer is in full swing around my house. Lots going on. Running here, there and sometimes every where! Work has been busy with fund raising for a trip to Forks, Washington later this month. Hopefully my camera is fixed by then! My lovely 3 year old dropped it and now I can't find the missing piece. Which also explains why I haven't been able to list anything new in my Etsy shop. Well either way I'll be taking lots of pictures and sharing them here when I get back! For now here's my newest renewal on Etsy....

Need some help....
I am now a part of the Panther Pride Athletic Association! YAY! We are a group of parents that are helping the student athletes at our local public school raise money for jerseys and other miscellaneous sports items they are in need of. One of our fundraisers is going to be a dinner and silent auction. This will be held in Early September. My goal is to put together a Etsy/Artfire gift basket. I am in need of some generous sellers though! Donations are greatly appreciated but I will also be purchasing a few items to add to the basket.
The school colors are black and gold. The mascot is a Panther. All store information (web addresses, item donated etc...) will be typed up for easy access for the basket winner. I will be taking pictures of the basket and the dinner event.
If you are interested please contact me through this e-mail or through the convos on etsy or artfire.
