I've been busy at work, at home and even at my parents house! But I did manage to find time for myself. Here's the post cards I have been working on.

Road Trip!

Our little trip to Forks was great! Not only did we get lost a few times, but we actually had fun *while* getting lost! :)

It was a long long drive on the way to Sequim. That's where we stayed the first night. Thursday morning we were on our way to Forks!

As soon as we got there we stopped at Sulley's. The Bella burger would have been better without the pineapple on it. But it was good.

Next we went to the Grocery Store and Forks Outfitters. Spent way too much money. They were out of Edward stuff, but I got a nice Team Jacob sweater.

Next we went to the Chamber and got our offical Twilight vistior packs. They have Twilight trivia for each book and city maps with each place marked on it.

Next stop was Bella's house.

Then we moved on to the Hospital.

Then the high school.

There is a really great scrapbook store near the school. The owner was so helpful! It was here that I noticed my cell phone was missing! So we took off retracing our steps. I had only gotten out of the car 3 times since I last used it. Didn't find it though.

So we headed on to the Cullens house. These people are great! They let people go up to their house to take pictures. It's actually a bed and breakfast. So if you're in Forks you can stay at the Cullens house! :)

Then we headed to the "meadow". It was while snapping this picture my friend got a text from *MY* cell phone saying it was found! YAY!!! We hurried back to Forks to meet up with the wonderful guys who decided to return my cell phone.

Then we headed back torward LaPush. That is where I took the most pictures. It's so beautiful there! I wish I had more time to just sit on the beach.

So I got this software that helps you make videos on your computer. Even though I've had it for almost a year I have never tried it! I broke through my little bubble and I decided to try it.

Buffalo Round Up

Every year the guys on the KAE & KNRD crews gather up all the buffalo. They get shots and tags (if they are babies.) This year just seemed different. There were less people there watching and more than a couple "newbies" doing the rounding up.

I was sitting toward the end of the walkway hiding behind the board so the buffalo wouldn't see me and get scared to enter the pin. There was one of the new guys sitting across from me. All of a sudden he jumps up and says "I'm gonna go help them!" (Talking about the guys chasing the buffalo) I continued sitting there sneaking my camera around the corner to take pictures and then we all heard it. The loud yells of a man in pain. He was screaming "He got me! He got me! I have a hole in my leg!" He managed to JUMP the fence! How he did that after being thrown in the air by a huge buffalo is beyond me.

After he was taken to the ambulance, the rest of the guys decided to give the buffalo a rest and take a lunch break so everyone could calm down.

Round Dance Time!

There was a round dance at the wellness center last night. Northern Cree was there and it was fun! My mom got out there for almost every song dancing away. :) I got carried away with taking pictures. I ended up with over 230. Here are a few.

Book Marks!

So I have 27 people signed up for my Twilight book club at the Library. I decided to make some book marks. Here are some that I have in my shop.

Some have pictures that I have taken myself. A couple are hand stamped. And I even did up some Twilight themed bookmarks.

Twilight Series

I kept seeing these books every where I went. I had made up my mind *not * to read them since they were so popular. But for some odd reason Twilight made it's way into my cart last week. I had to wait until I finished reading Sugar Queen before I could start reading it though. Once I did start reading it, I was *HOOKED* I could not put it down. I spent the last six nights staying up until almost 2 am reading. I have finished the first three and am now on the last book *Breaking Dawn*.

If you like Vampires, Werewolves, Romance and some action you'll like these books. The movie comes out November 21st.

Halloween!

I am getting ready for Halloween. :)

As I type I am scanning my new cards. Halloween is one of my most favorite holidays. If I didn't enjoy shopping for others so much it would probably be my most favorite!

Ready for Christmas yet?

I'm trying to get ready! Everything has just been so hectic at home and at work that I haven't had much time to do anything. I did manage to make these Christmas Cards not too long ago.

Seahawks & Raiders

So we went to the Seahawks & Raiders Preseason game on Friday. It was fun although our seats were seperate.


Boys in the parking lot where we paid $40 to PARK!!!!! That just blew me away! Really.....it's gonna cost $40 just to have our van sitting there?





I had our almost 2 year old sitting with me. So I have LOTS of pictures of him. :) He does this crazy looking smile when he poses for pictures. But when you can capture the "natural" smile it's so much cuter.


The final score was Seahawks 23 - Raiders 16.

Shocking!

So I went to my first ever Spokane Shock arena football game last week! It was fun, but I wasn't sitting with the most exciting of guys either. lol, Why is it when I'm with them that they totally hold back and just don't act normal???






The Shock won and will be hosting the Arena Cup on Monday! WooHoo!





(I really wanted one of the D-Fence banners but the kid in front of me kept grabbing them all when they were thrown into the crowd. He had at least SIX at the end of the game.)
